Robert S. Tiemstra
Originally from Oakland, California, Robert Tiemstra is a non-binary writer/director based out of Los Angeles. They're most well known for a series of 'genre-fluid' short films, exploring themes of identity, mortality and rebellion through fantasy, speculative fiction & horror.

As of 2024, their film work has been featured in over 50 film festivals, including Salem Horror Fest, New York Cinefest, Horrorhound, Catalina Island Film Festival, Crystal Palace, Long Island International Film Expo and FilmQuest.
On top of their indie filmmaking work, they’ve built a career as a prolific podcast writer, penning well over 300 episodes of both fiction and non-fiction. Their work has garnered millions of listens collectively and has been produced by studios including Spotify, Wondery, and The NoSleep Podcast.​​
